Huge amount of building collapse, street blockage, and fire outbreaks are presumed in a large-scale earthquake. All transportation services will paralyze, and it results in the substantial confusion. In order to discuss the various aspects of disasters, we have developed some agent-based simulation systems, which describe people’s returning home behavior, evacuation behavior, and firefighter activities. Also, we have developed Web application systems to quickly collect and utilize disaster information to mitigate disasters. Some new findings and the usefulness and effectiveness of the systems are demonstrated by numerical examples and experiments.
